In the second quarter of 2023, the top dining and restaurant applications in the Middle East showcased significant activity, with varying trends in downloads and active users. Here’s a closer look at the performance of the leading apps in this category.

McDonald’s - Non-US saw a notable increase in weekly downloads, peaking at approximately 90.8K in the week of April 24. Despite fluctuations, the app maintained a strong presence with weekly downloads staying above 65K. Weekly active users also showed a healthy trend, growing from 711K at the end of March to nearly 800K by the end of June.

KFC Saudi Arabia experienced a diverse trend in downloads. Weekly downloads started strong at around 49.4K at the end of March, reached a high of 74.9K in mid-April, and settled around 60.8K by the end of June. The app's weekly active users remained relatively stable, starting at 260K in late March and ending at 266K by late June.

ALBAIK steadily increased its weekly downloads from 15.8K in late March to 36K by the end of June. Weekly active users also showed growth, from 71.6K at the end of March to 102.8K by the end of June.

Starbucks KSA saw consistent weekly download numbers, starting at 19.6K in late March and reaching up to 30.8K in mid-May. The app's weekly active users grew from 175K at the end of March to over 214K by the end of June, indicating steady user engagement.

Hardee's KSA exhibited a dynamic download pattern, with weekly downloads rising from 10.7K in late March to a peak of 56.6K in the week of May 22, before settling around 19.7K by the end of June. Active users also showed a varied trend, starting at 43.6K in late March, peaking at 80.7K in late May, and ending at 61.7K by the end of June.
